Max Goes Mainstream

Tonight, I got a call from Carlos. He asked if I could do a couple of on-air shifts, presenting the early afternoon show, "Midday At The Oasis".

So, it would seem that I am ready for daytime. :)

If you feel the urge to listen to 's version of Mark Radcliffe, then tune in tomorrow (Wednesday 12th March) at 1pm MST (8pm GMT).

I'm also on again, next week, same time, same channel.

Later today, I'll be holding auditions for The Boy Lard role, although I just can't imagine too many Denver residents being able to say, "Fancy a brew?", "codfishbatteredballs", or "$%^& my hat! I didn't know that" quite like the Boy Lard.

Without wanting to abrade my nose by pushing my spectacles up it, I remembered that some lass had a hit with Midnight At The Oasis in the 70s as well. Turns out it's Maria Muldaur (I had to search for it though so I don't get extra foggy points).

LMAO @ John! You read my mind!

I didn't want to say anything in the article, but we all know that Tim was the prime candidate. Anyone who's seen the way we interact on-screen (in various videos we've done) will know that he's the winner!

And Magee... you're getting just one Foggy point, because:

1) Most people know the Brand New Heavies version, hence why I just referenced them.
2) We all know that (like certain Foggy persons we know) googling, then pretending you just knew the facts, is cheating!

I think you're going to have to explain that one Tim. Mark and Lard are on-air at about 7am mountain time, which is WAAAAY to early for me, as evidenced by the time-stamp on this comment.
