Money Talks...

Having finally found my wallet (MIA for three days now), I had a cheap-n-cheerful brunch at Zaidy's Deli. Whilst there, I was introduced to the son of the owner, who gave me the name of his agent.

"Wha?!", I hear you say. "Agent? Surely you're not thinking of expanding your burgeoning media career onto the silver screen?". Well, no. At least not unless Renée Zellweger insists that she needs me and no other, as her leading man.

No, the agent is for voice-over work. My broadcasting experience now puts me in a good position to prostitute my dulcet English tones in exchange for cold hard cash. God (or whoever) knows I need the money right now.

Given that I've been told that my English accent sets some women (and possibly men) all of a quivver, I'm hoping that it'll work well hawking whatever products need the European sophistication that I can exude without even trying.

I didn't have time to ring the agent today (I'll post about my afternoon, later), but I'll be ringing her, and another agency I've spotted in Denver, first thing on Monday.

Of course the beauty of this kind of work, is that even in the unlikely event of me getting an actual regular job, I can still do this work in my spare time.

Oh honey, why in the world would you be interested in the likes of that dimwit Renee Zelwegger. The girl can barely see through those slits she calls eyes. And the cheeks on her face are puffier than the ones that grace her non-existent ass.

Plus, she's a bleedin' moron.

I don't know that she's a moron, and yes, the whole squinting thing is odd - especially given that she's been in films (such as Bridget Jones' Diary) where she actually kept her eyes wide open - but she's just cute.

Err.. she has an intriguing smile.

You're allowed to like Renee. I like her - loved her in Bridget Jones. Think she looks better in that movie than as a stick pole too. Love Colin Firth way more though - damned sexy. *chuckle*

British accents are cute, yes. =D I love the Geordie accent - it took me a few minutes, but by the end of my day near Washington in Sunderland last June I could understand upwards of 75% of what was being said to me! Extraordinarily nice people. In desperate need and economic revivial, however. =\

Hugh Grant has a tremendously large head. But he's still really cute. Oh by the way - I think American's would say, colloquially, "All a quiver". Reading the "of" in there caused me to do a double-take - is that the British usage of the phrase? Odd! *Laughs!*
